Q:  What is the condition of these vintage toys?


A:   All of the toys I sell are in Very Good+ (gently used) or better condition.  Most of my items are in EXCELLENT -NEAR MINT or MINT condition.  Others are BRAND NEW in box.  I provide detailed descriptions and multiple close-up photos so you can determine the condition of the item for yourself.  I do NOT use stock photos.  The picture of the item is the EXACT item you will be receiving.  To view my descriptions, click on the photo of the item you wish to see.  I am "super nit-picky" in my descriptions as I do not want to disappoint any of my customers.  All sets are thoroughly Q-tip cleaned prior to sending them to their new owner. 


Q:  Do you ship outside the United States?


A:  Yes, I ship to Canada via the USPS Priority Mail International or First Class International whichever applies.  Upon request, I will ship to selected European countries (e.g. UK, France, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, and Germany) and Australia. Shipping costs to these European countries or Australia is EXPENSIVE.  If you REALLY wish to purchase something and you do not have a U.S. address, please e-mail me before making a purchase.  All items shipped outside of the continental U.S. must be shipped via U.S. Priority Mail International and MUST be insured.  International buyers are responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom duties, or VAT's imposed by your respective governments.  I am not responsible for these charges.  Please do not ask me to falsify Custom's forms saying this is a "gift" when it's merchandise.  I value my integrity and do not wish to break the law.
 


Q :  Do you have all the items shown in stock?


A:   Usually, yes.  I try to update my listings at least once a day.  However, if two people order the same item before I can remove it from my active listings, then the individual who purchased it first will receive the item.  The other buyer will be sent a refund with my apologies.  Sometimes, I have duplicate sets in stock.  If the second buyer is interested, I will be happy to send him/her pictures of the second set along with a detailed description of any "flaws" or "imperfections."  They then may choose whether or not they are interested in acquiring the second set.



Q:   What are the shipping charges?


A:    The price listed is for the item itself and includes FREE shipping for purchases being sent to the lower 48 contiguous States. Individuals in Hawaii and Alaska MUST contact me in advance to get the extra cost of shipping to your states. I will cover the cost of shipping up to the maximum Parcel Select Rate for delivery in the western Continental US.  Residents of Hawaii and Alaska will be responsible for the difference in cost between that figure and what it costs to ship to your states.  Buyers from Hawaii and Alaska should contact me so I can adjust the shipping costs to your destinations.  I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.   International buyers will be responsible for the full shipping cost to their country plus the cost of insurance.  They will also be responsible for any VAT's, Custom's fees, brokerage fees and the like.  International buyers MUST contact me in advance to procure the shipping charges to your country. 


Q:    What shipping carriers do you use?


A:     Domestically, I use the USPS Priority Mail service for those items weighing less than 5 lbs.  Otherwise, I primarily use Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances.  I've been finding Fed Ex Home Delivery has been running about 33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post Select) and UPS Ground.  Another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quotes include up to $100 worth of FREE insurance.  Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS).  All of your purchases will be insured up to the full amount of your parcel.  Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your package's whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.  If your employer permits it, I can also ship to your work place via Fed Ex Ground.  Shipping using Fed Ex Ground is usually $3-5.00 cheaper than Fed Ex Home Delivery.  Fed Ex Home Delivery delivers items Monday through Saturday while Fed Ex Ground only delivers Monday-Friday.


Q:  What do I need to do to purchase an item?


A:  Click on the item you wish to purchase and add it to your shopping cart.  The quoted amount reflects the cost of the item.  Shipping is FREE  to the lower 48 contiguous states (via either USPS Priority Mail or Fed Ex Home Delivery). Individuals residing in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, or other international destinations need to contact me prior to checking out so I can adjust the difference in shipping costs.

 When you wish to purchase something,  click on the "Add to Shipping Cart" button.  You will then see a preliminary invoice page with three buttons:  "Continue Shopping," "Check Out, " or "Check Out with PayPal." If you would like to continue shopping, click on the "Continue Shopping" button.   If  you've finished shopping, go ahead and click the "Check Out with PayPal"  button. You will then be routed through PayPal's system to pay for your purchases.  Buyers purchasing multiple items should group all of their purchases together and pay for them as a group.  Otherwise, I get charged multiple PayPal transaction fees. In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well  as a home, cell, or work place contact phone number.  Fed Ex will not accept your shipping paperwork or transport your item without a contact phone number.




Q:  What do I do if I want to buy several items from you?


A:   That's wonderful!  I LOVE to combine shipping whenever it's possible to do so without damaging your purchases.  All I ask is that you do not pay for the items separately via PayPal.  If you pay for each item separately, then I get charged multiple transaction fees and it makes it impossible for me to print out accurate shipping labels using PayPal. 


Q:  Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?


A:  Yes, via the USPS Parcel Post. Insurance is required.  Please contact me for an invoice as the shipping rates to Alaska and Hawaii are substantially higher than those to the western continental United States.


Q:  Do you ship to U.S. military posts?


A:   Yes, just provide me the correct address and I'll take care of the rest shipping via the USPS.


Q:  How do I pay for my purchase?


A:  After you've finished selecting the item(s) you wish to purchase and have loaded them in your shopping cart, then you may proceed to check out by proceeding to the preliminary invoice page.  Click on the button entitled "Check out with PayPal."    You may pay for your purchase(s):


      1.  By sending an electronic payment by credit card, eCheck, or funds on deposit through PayPal.  Items purchased by credit card or funds on deposit with PayPal will ship within 48 hours.  Please note that if you pay by eCheck, I am required to wait until your e-Check clears before mailing your package.  This may take up to 3-5 days.



      2.  By sending a bank-issued Cashier's Check or Postal Money Order.  Please contact me so I can send you an invoice that includes my mailing address etc..  I will then remove your items from my booth so that others won't purchase them.   All payments are due within 7 business days or they will be reposted in my store.  Please be advised my bank requires a three day period to make sure that these types of payment clear before I can ship your package.


Q:  When will my order arrive?


A:   Usually, I ship within 48 hours after receipt of your payment via PayPal or after three days of your cleared payment if you're paying by a Cashier's Check or MO.  Occasionally, it may take me a little longer if I get hit with multiple purchases at the same time.  Rather than "cutting corners" in cleaning, wrapping, and packing your package, I prefer taking the extra time to give all my customers the service they deserve.  In all instances, I will keep you apprised re: where I am in cleaning your purchase and when I expect to ship your package.  Be aware that packages being shipped via Parcel Post Select or Standard Parcel Post are taking up to 14 days to arrive within the continental United States.  I only ship using Parcel Post to Hawaii or Alaska.  Otherwise, I use Priority Mail or Fed Ex Home Delivery.


Q:   Do you accept returns?


A:   ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED.  I have attempted to bring any noted "imperfections" to your attention prior to your purchasing the item.  However, I'm only human.  If I have missed something or you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me so we can work something out together.


Q:  How do I contact you?



A:  Go to the tool bar on my "Home" page and click on the button entitled "Store Details."  Then, click on "Contact Me."  Check the appropriate question and provide your name, address, e-mail contact etc. as indicated. I will get back to you ASAP.  I usually check my messages at least twice a day if not more frequently.
